Examples of Album Advertisements in the Rock/Indie Genre

This image is the album advertisement for Deaf Havana's first album 'Meet me Halfway, At Least". It features a review from Rock Sound magazine at the top, so potential punters will know that the album has been critically accepted, and a sponsor from Monster energy drink ,which is a very 'young' product which will boost the popularity of the band. The image uses mostly white and green colours, and the white background emphasizes the dark clothing the lead singer is wearing.

A band with similar musical styling is Scottish band Twin Atlantic, who created the magazine advert for their mini album Invarium. The aesthetics of this advert are very different, due to the minimalist picture of the plants in the glass box. It seems as though Twin Atlantic were attempting a more chic and sofisticated advert, which in turn appeals to a wider audience. The colour scheme of black, white and green allows the green of the plants and the important text to stand out, and the main image is immediately eyecatching against the stark room behind.
